Does anyone have experience selling to B&H Photo? I sold some lenses, a tripod and some heads to them and received an email nine days ago stating that a check had been sent via USPS; I contacted them to let them know that I hadn't received the check, and they still haven't responded. Any suggestions?
I called B&H and was told that I should wait two weeks for the check to arrive (nothing on their selling page about this); a few minutes later I received an email stating: "Checks typically take approximately 5–7 business days to arrive. If you have not received the check by Friday, please let us know and we will be happy to have it reissued." I've been a B&H customer for more than forty years, and this will be the last business I do with them (I'll be cancelling another order for a new camera and lens with a supposed ship date of mid-October).

That seems rather harsh. The USPS is increasingly unpredictable; they are more than likely the cause of the delay.
If B&H had operated in a professional manner, I would have been a little more patient, but every time I contacted B&H, I got a different story; the last person I talked to told me that they only cut checks once a week which is probably the cause of the delay; when I have sold to MPB, they ask if I want store credit, a physical check or direct deposit to my checking account. Given B&H's position in the marketplace, they should be at least offering electronic transfer.
Never had any issues with BH Photo. Got fair prices for sales to them although lower than if I sold on my own. They send an email after they evaluate the product to see if it's in the condition you desceibe. Depending upon closing for religious holidays they are quick with this. The eventual email states check number and that it is sent usps. Of course, I live in New York City a and you live farther away. USPS is awefull as usual but I've always gotten what I've been quoted. No problems at all.

I sold some gear last month to B&H and they were excellent with everything. They not only accepted my initial online price for selling my gear but immediately sent us a check which took at least 2 weeks to get.
And Liz, the rep in the used department was super helpful and kind in every way.

We live in AZ. Mail from back east takes at least 10 days now. Once in a very great while we will get something from back east in 3 days. An aunt lives in south Florida and mails somethings to northern NJ and it takes THREE WEEKS to get there. It's not B&H. It's the postal service.
Once more, B&H selling page does not say anything about how long payment will take: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/l/buy-sell-used
I know it's popular to blame everything on the post office, but I rarely have problems with them; my problem with B&H this time was that I talked to three people in their used department and got a different story from each of them; what's causing the delay this time is that they only cut checks once per week, and I received the payment email from them on Labor Day which probably has added to the delay; If they had been more forthcoming on their sell page, I could have made a more informed decision and I wouldn't have any reason to be disappointed with their performance.
What were the different stories? If I can follow the bouncing ball.
On the 16th you posted this thread. 9 days earlier you got an email saying a check was being sent (Sept 7th).
When you asked B&H they indicated wait could be 2 weeks for mail (that would be Monday Sept 21st).
However they offered to send you a replacement check if it hadn't show up by yesterday (Friday the 18th).
Not sure what the different stories are. It seems like a fairly consistent timeline.
The last time I sold a lens to BH Photo they paid me 20% more than I would have received from MPB. MPB is faster if you provide a checking account routing information and provide them with access to make a transfer.
