We have been in Fairbanks Alaska for the past few days staying within walking distance of two wildlife refuges. As you might guess we have visited both of them. It is the tail end of the Sandhill Crain migration and these are some of the last images I took. For a change after the morning fog burned off the sun came out and we had nearly pure blue skies. The sun felt so nice and warm I was in a t-shirt at 55f as I shot. The sun is always at a low angle in Alaska so it's magic our light almost all day. Next is the long journey home by car and air.
