Just looking to get people‘s opinion
I bought Leica full case but when I put the camera down on the table, it falls forward.
That is very annoying and I’m not sure if that would damage the lens over the long. Period.
I don’t know anything about Oberwerth cases- and wondering if the camera would do the same and tip forward. Additionally, it seems like it does not protect the side door the way Leica full case does.

I’ve had both the Leica half case and the oberwerth AirTag case before on the q3 43mm. I think the oberwerth is better on feel and looks but it’s mostly user preference .Both will have the lens tip over behavior although the oberwerth has a strong magnate underneath. I think the best way to minimize that is to use the Leica round lens hood.
I do not believe the tip over will damage the camera.

It tips over with all half cases. One option is to get the Polar Pro Magflip Hood. It is super convenient for changing filters, also the hinge sticks out so prevents the Q3 from completely tipping over.
