p.1 #1"A bird in the hand ....." and a little Iridescence
The Kingfisher was being chased by another one and flew straight into our family room window. It was knocked unconscious, so I placed it on a cloth in a pet carrier cage and waited several minutes until it looked recovered. It then let me grab it in my left hand, resulting in the photo I took with camera in my right hand. When I let go it flew off apparently recovered.
