It's been about 40 years since I was last in Alaska. Back then I was lucky to see a Bald Eagle every few days. So far on this trip I've seen a few every day. These photos are taken from a boat with the first images in Seward Harbor, one from Kenai Fjords National Park and he last back in Seward Harbor. The parch the eagles were on in the harbor was not ideal yet I loved the backgrounds, both the natural ones and he man made ones. The eagles in the harbor were still showing some of there dark feathers on their heads making them about 3 years old.

Nice Morris I went to Alaska last year for the, bears and came back with lots of great eagle shots. I would say your last shot makes it all worthwhile.

Wow what a dream of a trip! I went on a cruise there for my honeymoon. Saw eagles but they were always quite far away. That last shot is an absolute wall hanger. Have a great and safe trip.

I love eagles and have taken many photos of them near my home in Queens, NYC.

I was hear 40 years ago on a raft and hiking trip and in the 10 days we saw 3 other parties.

My wife and I stayed in a Yurt on the shore of Resurrection Bay in Seward. We were told that the bay was over 900 ft. deep.
