Pure white feathers or fur on wildlife is already 'blown' when I view it with my eyes, so I don't get to be neurotic about it when my photos display the same pure white.
I also don't get obtuse about every image having to be razor-sharp. Sharpness is hardly the most important factor the majority of people like most about an image. Pixel-peepers on photo sites will disagree, but they form a very small minority.
