For sale is Sony FE 35mm F1.4 ZA Distagon lens. I've owned this lens since 2020. Used, excellent condition. Some signs of wear on the body with sharp edges, consistent with normal use.
I originally intended to purchase this lens as a stop-over while I waited for the Sony GM 35mm f/1.4 to get announced. However, I fell in love with how this lens renders- it has this lovely 3D pop to its colors, distinct contrast and rich color saturation, beautiful bokeh, and a lovely warmth to skin tones. The files have so much more character than the GM/Sigma DG I/II lenses have render tones with a clinical / sterile nature, almost like an AI generated image.
Stepless aperture ring was also a huge perk for my casual video work, for smooth exposure changes.
