Hello all, please read the following description well!
I am selling this 2005 Nikon SP Black Reissue, I obtained it a few years ago in Japan with the intention of finding a specialist to possibly fix the viewfinder but never got around to it. I used it a bit with the 35, with which you mostly use the secondary finder which means the main is only used to focus.
- Viewfinder has separation(maybe desilvering?) on the right side when viewed.
- This does not impact the ability to focus and the patch is nice and bright
- If you do not wear glasses, it is actually very useable since it only blacks out the extreme right side. If you have glasses it does black out about 1/4th of the right side.
- I have included pictures of this in the post.
- Body does exhibit dings and wear, minor damage but nothing major.
- 28mm/35mm secondary viewfinder is in great condition, some dusts but clean and clear.
- Works great, wind is smooth, speeds are good, no problems with taking pictures
- Lens is clean and clear, some dusts and small specs but no haze and no fungus. Great lens and images are amazing.
- Comes with all original boxes, accessories, and paperwork in the box.
I tried my best to describe accurate so please read carefully, as it will be sold with these issues in mind. Still a joy to use and a really great historical camera, just unfortunate it has the viewfinder issue.
