Offered for sale is a 1962 Leica M3 Single-Stroke that has been professionally serviced and is in excellent mechanical condition. Also included is the camera’s original Ever-Ready Case as well as functioning Leica Meter MR (with box).
The camera received a full CLA from Youxin Ye (YYE) in September 2025. During the service, the vulcanite covering was professionally replaced. The camera functions exactly as it should, with accurate shutter speeds, a properly aligned rangefinder, and smooth operation throughout. It is ready for immediate use.
Cosmetically, the camera presents very well. There is slight polishing to the top plate from the use of a clip-on light meter, as shown in the photographs. There is also a very faint engraving “RT” on the baseplate (see last photo). Aside from this, it shows the honest signs of careful use expected of a well-maintained M3 that is now over sixty years old.
The Ever-Ready Case has a small area where the stitching is coming apart. The Leica Meter MR is functioning but needs to be calibrated.
