Just released but there seems to be a problem with the support for Compressed RAW files. Compressed HQ seems fine.

No, lossy RAW it is not supported. The plan was around Q4 or Autumn.

They have started to make some support, PL 9.11 wasn't able to view the image at all but with 9.12 they open but the colors are wrong

Sony A1: If you want 30 fps, you need to use compressed RAW.
There is no saving money on memory cards. If not wanting 30fps, Lossless Compressed RAW can be used.
Compressed RAW and Lossless Compressed RAW are similar file size.
There are other cameras, other reasons.

Compressed Raw on A7R6 : Half filesize, dubble the AF calculations and faster readoutspeed from sensor.

Yes both Compressed RAW and Compressed HQ are included in PL9.12 and PL10 but there is a bug with processing the Compressed RAW files.
Compressed HQ files work find on both.
I just send some sampled files to DxO - they couldn't reproduce the problem with the RAW files they have.
Currently they are also having problems with the HDR and NR files - and I just learned something new.
The A7R6 will combined the HDR frames or NR frames into a single file in camera - so no need to do that in Image Edge anymore

Blending HDR bracketing can be done in several other editors one is Capture One.

OK so I have found that the PL9/10 problem is with A7R6 Compressed RAW files that are taken in one of the Continuous Shooting modes - I tested H+ files and Lo files and they all fail to render properly in PL.
Using Single Shot Compressed RAW the files are processed correctly in PL.
Lossless and HQ in one of the burst modes seems to work fine.
DxO have acknowledged there is a bug with processing of HDR and NR files - and I assume these are also shot using one of the burst modes so hopefully that will fix the processing of any normal burst mode Compressed RAW files.

Tested my self
Compressed RAW:
* single shot = 14-bit
* continous shooting = 12-bit
So DXO can't handle the 12-bit files.

That is not a fix, but an admission of failure. The a7rVI is practically useless without NR.
It's not inconsistent with the statement that lossy raw would be supported in the autumn.

I just downloaded the demo 10.0.1 onto one basic machine (9700X and 4060) and everything from a7RVI with lossy compressor is green and black.
I have not tried capturing images with the HQ compressor, but doesn't that blur the motion and decrease the AF function just like the lossless so it becomes lame for many species?
