I have an old film camera and a pile of Kodak carousels and Telex Caramate projector I am trying to find a home for. Local stores won't even take it on consignment, and the Buy/Sell here or Facebook marketplace hasn't been productive.

I do not know if you have one there, but we have a popular locally-run classified ads style site which also has a giveaway section. If you have such a thing you might try either an ad or for giveaway.
Charity-based thrift stores are another option, also popular here, but it is a donation.
Or Goodwill (which is not a charity) might take it (they take almost anything), again a 'donation'.
