p.1 #1Where do you sell or even give away your old film stuff?
I have an old film camera and a pile of Kodak carousels and Telex Caramate projector I am trying to find a home for. Local stores won't even take it on consignment, and the Buy/Sell here or Facebook marketplace hasn't been productive.

I do not know if you have one there, but we have a popular locally-run classified ads style site which also has a giveaway section. If you have such a thing you might try either an ad or for giveaway.
Charity-based thrift stores are another option, also popular here, but it is a donation.
Or Goodwill (which is not a charity) might take it (they take almost anything), again a 'donation'.

Yeah, Goodwill aint no charity...

Because Goodwill operates as a network of independent, locally managed regional organizations rather than a single corporate entity, executive pay varies significantly by region, revenue size, and local cost of living. For comparison, the head of Goodwill Industries International (the umbrella network) generally earns around $650,000 to $720,000 annually, while regional executives typically make between $400,000 and $900,000.

+1
Check the eBay asking and selling prices for the gear you have, and then decide if you want to sell it, or chuck it. Also, you could check around for local photo clubs, maybe there would be some interest, there.

Perhaps not the best option, but if you want it gone without trashing it and being a net-negative transaction ...
... it might be worth to reach out to Catlabs and see if they are interested. If so, they would provide you with a shipping label. They are a brick and mortar store, so do not expect top dollar from them.

p.1 #9Where do you sell or even give away your old film stuff?
I gave my old medium format system to my film lab for workshops and classes.
p.1 #10Where do you sell or even give away your old film stuff?
A nearby photo brick and mortar store gave away these kind of Kodak slide carousels for free about 3 years ago where I picked them up since I own a Kodak slide projector where these carousels fit. But I doubt you can sell them for much. The community within the film community base which still uses projectors etc is very small. The majority digitizes slide film photos but rarely projects (me included!).
"Old film camera" is a very general term - it depends a lot what kind of camera it is and from which brand. SLRs in good condition might go between $100-150 depending on brand and series. Photo stores have more than enough of them - not sure if they are interested. Different story for rangefinder or medium format cameras when from Leica, Hasselblad, or Mamiya - they go for high prices. Then there are antique film cameras which have a bellow - they might go also depending on brand below $80. Most of them are just for decorative purposes at this point especially if they require 116 or 127 film cassettes.
