p.1 #1 · Computer Monitors

I have been running my photo work on an Apple 27 inch I-Mac (last of the Intel processors) for the last 6 years, and it has been great. However it’s getting a little slow with large quantities of 45 Mp files downloading and creating previews. Also I know Apple is shortly going to stop supporting the Intel processors so today I preordered a Mac Studio with the M5 Max chip which should really speed things up. Now I need to decide on a new monitor to partner up with the Mac Studio. Typically I would just get the Apple the Apple Studio Display, which appears to be a lot better than my I-Mac builtin monitor with a new speaker system, brighter now at 600 nits, and FireWire 5 ports as well, as well as the Apple premium price.

I was wondering if any one has any experience or recommendations such as the Asus ProArt, or BenQ 27 inch that might be a better option.

Thanks
Dave

You can get a Studio Display refurb for pretty good prices quite regularly from Apple and they still have a generous return policy/warranty.
