Selling my uncle's old Wimberley head. This is probably 20 years old at this point. Quite hefty.
I believe it's either a WH-100 or WH-101 but not sure how to tell the difference.
$180 net to me takes it. I will cover shipping and insurance in the CONUS.
The original Wimberley gimbal, introduced in 1991 and the industry standard for nature and wildlife photographers for fifteen years. Production ended in fall 2006, when it was replaced by the WH-200 Version II. Made and assembled in the USA (Charlottesville, VA).
Gimbal design lets you support and swing a large telephoto lens through pan and tilt with almost no effort, and the lens stays balanced wherever you leave it. Three adjustments: pan, tilt, and vertical platform height for setting the balance point.
