When I took these images, both barns stood against the North-Western sky of my County. Both barns built in the late 1800's.
Some years later, they were both "bulldozed" for future development despite the fact that it is 2026 and both are gone,(2012) and no development has commenced on the properties.

Barn still stands but property behind it is being developed.

So many of these beautiful barns are gone in my area as well. Lucky to have some pictures of the past.
Thank you lazlo!
I may have not done the barn justice..it was very early morning and the sun had just settled above the Eastern horizon...intense shadows yet light would filter through some of the strangling vegetation on the barn.

Thanks brother! #1 might be an easier "build". Top floor is all 1 level and just 4 sides.. The sliding rail doors give you that "opening" to break up the linear geometry.
Be creative!
Brutal humidity is back and I am longing for Fall and Winter!
