The DKL-mount was a bayonet lens mount invented and introduced by Fr. Deckel, München. The DKL mount was primarily used in leaf-shutter cameras, such as the Voigtländer Bessamatic and Kodak Retina Reflex + others. It features a flange distance of 44.7 mm, and I have found it is adaptable to many of my camera bodies. Share your DKL mount lens photos - *ANY* camera body. film or digital, is fine to use. Also, any photos of the DKL lens mounted are appreciated. Hopefully there are others using these beautiful lenses.

The DKL mount has some very interesting lenses! I heard that ruhrworx can adapt them to M-mount as well. I don't own any myself but I'm curious to see more images made with these lenses.
One of the reasons I bought into Sony back in the mid-2010's was the ability to adapt just about any lens. Kodak Retina lenses were very undervalued and I picked up the 28, 35, 50, and 85 for under $40 each back then. Here's my collection and a sample image. Thanks to your post I'm going to take them out for a spin this weekend.
I recently sold the DKL mount 200mm f4.8, because it was rather large and heavy. However, I kept the 28, 35, 50, 85, and 135 for a Kodak Retina Reflex S I restored, and to adapt to other bodies. Some feel and look like nickle plated brass, but most are aluminum. The 85mm f4 is so small, but hefty. It fits the Pen F, and FT perfectly, Here is an example shot of grape leaves.

Kevin, Isn't it amazing to get stellar optics for such bargain basement prices?
I went back and looked at some more images from 2018 and did a couple new edits and a re-edit of an image I posted above. I'll say, I certainly am better about settings when I'm out taking photos now vs then.
