Want one of these, if there even is such a thing, which I have come to doubt. I have my reasons, don't judge me.
1/25 to 1/1000 all accurate, right now, out of the box, is what I need. Tested with shutter tester, not ear of someone with failing hearing, or bad at math.
It's been a long, horrible, road I would just like to get to the end of.

I had a collection of about a dozen Exaktas ca 1990, at which time they were 20-40 years old. And I had a shutter tester: the best of the cameras had a usable although inaccurate range of faster speeds. Today such cameras are very roughly twice as old. Please do let us know on the alt forum if you find what you want. It's a big, big ask.

Owning a shutter tester is probably more the source of my anxiety than the cameras themselves.
I got my first Exakta (long gone) in 1974, and have come to wonder whether even it was accurate. Pretty much any Nikon F2 which has never been opened or “CLA’d”, bought today, is going to have every shutter speed accurate within 1/3 stop. I’ve been spoiled by that gold standard in camera design and manufacturing.
The 1950 VX I have now has been recently worked on, and every shutter speed I would actually use, below 1/1000, is half a stop slow, while 1/1000 is 3/4 of a stop fast, and they are all sort of repeatable. Sort of. So, I can adapt to that.
I keep buying them because I like the lenses. None of them have ever been even as accurate as the one I have here now; the recent “fully serviced and tested” one from Ukraine wasn’t even close. The most recent “excellent and fully functional” one from a camera shop had a 1/1000 which was really 1/160, and none of the other speeds were any better.
So, it’s become for me more of a learning exercise than anything else, to see if such a thing even exists.
