What a glorious morning!
Seven - 13mm, horizontal exposures, starting pointing nearly downward, near my feet, then each shot pointing progressively upward (still horizontal) with roughly 1/3rd to 1/4th overlap, to capture the visual magnitude of the scene. The raw images were converted in Adobe Camera Raw to Adobe's "Adaptive Profile" with the sharpening turned off (always) then "Merge to Panorama" was chosen to create a single raw panorama file (DNG). It was straightened, re-cropped, tonal and color corrected, and fine tuned mostly in Camera Raw. Clean up, ultra fine corrections and fine tuning was done in Photoshop.

Thank you Ross. Me too! Literally and in the moment. I walk away from these sunrises often thinking that all the things that are going wrong in the world don’t even matter (meaning that they don’t have to affect me negatively). I also love how light pierces the darkness!

Getting the sun and the moon in the same frame is a real treat. Next time ask God to put the moon closer to the sun... Or ask OpenAI, Anthropic, or Phoitoshop really nicely...

I betcha you love AI denoise though. I will also allow myself use of the AI remove and generate tool in order to remove distractions, particularly with my bird photography, but that is about it.
