**** EVERYTHING WORKS FLAWLESSLY! ****
OUTSIDE THE CAMERA:
- Shutter advance is crisp & precise.
- Shutter speed dial is smooth & accurate.
- Outer exposure dial ring lifts easily and smoothly to adjust ISO speed, and every ISO selection is precise, and the dials fall onto each ISO speed accurately.
- Exposure comp button and dial are accurate and work perfectly.
- The On/Off slide around the shutter button is tight, accurate, and works as intended.
- Hot shoe is clean and free of gunk and works as intended.
- The film counter window has soft buffing on top, but you can clearly see into it, and the advance counter works perfectly and resets perfectly when opening the back of the camera.
- The button to elongate and retract the lens mount is super precise and locks sturdily.
- The bellows are beautiful. Free of anything bad. Clean, crisp, no cracking.
- Lens mount is in great condition, and lenses sit and lock perfectly.
- All buttons work, such as the timer on the back, the door latch button, and the slider.
- The viewfinder is EXTREMELY bright and clear!!
- Rangefinder patch is the BEST I have EVER USED IN MY LIFE. Large and super accurate. I'm a Leica fanboy, and this is BY FAR the best.
INSIDE THE CAMERA:
- The shutter curtain is IMMACULATE.
- The entire inside is almost free of any dust.
- Orange spool locking buttons are perfect. Great tension and work perfectly.
- Rollers are clean.
- The inside literally looks brand new.
- The film door is in wonderful condition. The 120/220 selector square rotates and stops as intended.
- Film door locks with absolute precision.
- Bellows are gorgeous.
- The safety curtain winder on the bottom of the camera is perfect. Barely any wear on the bottom, and the spring has the perfect tension to lock in place. The opening button next to it (with the arrow) releases the curtain flawlessly.
WEAR AND TEAR:
- Sliver of a TINYYYYYYYYYY and short piece of hair or piece of dust visible in the viewfinder, but BARELY.
- The bottom of the camera has scuffs and dings, but of course it would. It's old, was used, and sat on things, lol.
- Battery door is very worn from, well, changing the battery, lol. But it is firm, and the threads are perfect.
- There are small nicks, here and there, on the outer metal lens mount. Totally normal. Does not affect any use, plus it's metal and extremely solid.
- A few areas on the camera have superficial scuffing. Nothing abrasive or abusive by any means. In particular, looking at the camera front-on, above the top-right of the middle window, there are some scuffs. Another area is by the "Mamiya 6" logo, where there is some scuffing. But the logo is in perfect condition.
- The worst part of the camera is the hard edge on the top right of the camera (looking down) by the film advance and shutter button. That area has numerous nicks, but they do not affect anything. The camera was OBVIOUSLY NEVER DROPPED. Just normal wear and tear. The film advance has paint loss from obvious use. But, surprisingly enough, the rubber on top, which should be completely destroyed by that use, is in wonderful condition, and it was not even replaced during the CLAs.
- The top back of the film door has paint loss as well, but nothing major.
LENSES:
Mamiya 75mm f/3.5G:
- CLA'd paperwork below.
- Outer barrel is very clean. No signs of being dropped or abused.
- EXTREMELY SHARP.
- The aperture ring is smooth and very precise.
- Focus through is wonderful, smooth, precise. Not loose at all.
- Slight, very small specs of dust inside the lens. Does NOT affect picture quality at all.
Mamiya 150mm f/4.5G
- Not CLA'd.
- Again, has slight, very small specs of dust inside the lens. Does NOT affect picture quality at all.
- The barrel is in beautiful condition.
- The outer barrel is very clean. No signs of being dropped or abused.
- VERY SHARP.
CLA PAPERWORK TRANSCRIBED FROM JAPANESE TO ENGLISH. READ ALL!!!!
1. Slip No. 3564
What was actually selected and worked on.
1. Repair area: Main body (② ��)
The blue circle around the printed ② �� row is the clearest component selection. The form's main-body checklist
includes the bellows, extension/focusing mechanism, rack plate, pinion shaft, setting lever, mirror operation, light
shield, release button, mount, revolving mechanism, stopping-down lever, and automatic operation.
2. Work performed: Repair (��) and Adjustment (��)
Both treatment choices are circled in the row corresponding to the main body. This indicates that the service was not merely an inspection. Repair and adjustment were selected.
3. Fault described: Shutter malfunction
The handwritten note clearly contains �����the word “shutter” and wording indicating that it malfunctions. The note also refers to adjusting switches/controls. Because the note is handwritten and abbreviated, I would not claim it identifies
a specific internal shutter component without a clearer original scan.
4. Repeat-repair history
The document has ���“re-repair” marked, with 3506 written beside it. The current document is repair No. 3564.
This is the strongest evidence on the sheet that an earlier repair record was associated with the current service.
5. What is NOT marked as the repair area
There is no comparable blue selection visible for the printed rows ① Exterior, ③ Film advance/rewind, ④ Shutter, ⑤
Viewfinder, ⑥ Exposure display, ⑦ Lens/aperture, ⑧ Electrical system, or ⑨ Other. The technician instead appears to have categorized the problem under ② Main body, with the handwritten note explaining the shutter symptom.
6. CLA / overhaul question
The printed form contains “Overhaul (functional / special)” as an available checklist item under ⑨ Other, but I do not
see a blue selection marking that item. Therefore, this document does not provide good evidence that a complete
CLA/overhaul was performed.
7. Warranty / follow-up
The printed warranty language says that if the same fault occurs at the same location within 2–6 months, the shop
will readjust it free of charge, while disclaiming responsibility for damages. This supports the interpretation that the
work was a specific repair/adjustment rather than a blanket restoration.
Bottom line: The blue markings point most strongly to main-body repair + adjustment for a shutter-related
Malfunction, with a notation indicating re-repair tied to repair No. 3506. The document does not visibly establish a
full CLA or overhaul.
2. Slip No. 3506
What was actually selected and worked on.

1. Exterior: ������ was noted and �� selected, indicating an exterior item was lacking and was to be
supplied/replenished.
2. Main body: ����������� says internally deteriorated parts were replaced. The selected treatment is ��
(replacement).
3. Rangefinder: ����� says rangefinder adjustment. The selected treatments are �� + �� + ��, meaning repair,
cleaning, and adjustment.
4. Electrical system: �� says damaged/broken. �� is selected and the adjacent note says ���� (parts replacement).
5. Cost: Labor ¥17,000 + parts ¥4,100 = ¥21,100; tax ¥2,110; total ¥23,210.
6. Repair significance: This is a substantial repair record. It documents internal parts replacement, rangefinder
repair/cleaning/adjustment, and electrical-system parts replacement. It is not merely an inspection or simple CLA notation.
7. Relationship to the other repair sheet: This is Repair No. 3506. The later document you supplied is Repair No. 3564
And explicitly says ��� 3506, meaning re-repair of/related to 3506. That is a direct documentary link between the two
records.
Confidence: High for the printed categories, blue circles, cost arithmetic, and the phrases �����������, �����, ��,
and ����. Moderate for ������ and the handwritten parts note because these are handwritten/shop terminology.
3. Slip No. 302956
What was actually worked on.
1. Repair severity: The shop selected ��� (major/heavy repair). This is a direct blue-circle selection.
2. Component: The lens row is the clearly marked work area. The body/exterior, shutter, finder, exposure display,
electrical, and sync/flash rows do not show comparable blue defect circles in this photograph.
3. Lens problems: Fungus/mold (��), haze/clouding (���), and balsam/cement condition (����) are visibly marked.
Scratches (��) are not visibly circled.
4. Work performed: Repair (��) and cleaning (��) are visibly selected for the lens. Replacement (��) does not appear to
be selected.
5. Handwritten technical note: The clearest portion says ����� ������ ��, referring to the front group and rear group, balsam/cement disassembly and cleaning. This is consistent with actual optical-group service rather than merely wiping the exterior.
6. Customer acceptance of condition: The final handwritten line appears to acknowledge an age-related condition.
Because it is handwritten and partly obscured, I would not treat it as a legal-quality transcription.
7. Financial record: The repair is marked as paid, and the sheet shows a handwritten total of ¥6,600.
8. Most important takeaway: This second document is much more directly about the lens than the first document. It
provides visible evidence that the lens had fungus, haze, and balsam-related condition, and that the lens was selected
for repair and cleaning. It also specifically references the front and rear optical groups being disassembled/cleaned.
Confidence: High on the circled printed selections and printed Japanese terms; moderate on the handwritten
lens-service sentence; low on the exact first and final handwritten phrases where the handwriting is difficult.
