I just got this elegant software for culling, rating and all of that. It is SWEET. This is now my default first pass for the card, before anything else happens. This lets me rate, describe, etc etc, all to XMP and all readable by Adobe. It even exports so you can copy the good stuff off the card and dump the rest without running your CPU. It's called Photoculler. You can get it for all the platforms. $79 for a lifetime. Yeah.
