Perhaps the sharpest and best lens I have ever owned and I have a lot of Leica glass. I bought this new a few years back and it basically has been out and about only a few times....The lens as you know goes for over $7000. The
reason for sale is to move some glass around and get this to a new home. I find myself reaching always for my 50 summilux. I sent this back to Leica NJ because I was not happy with the aperture play. They cleaned, adjusted and reworked this jewel. Its perfect now. The ability to close focus is a game changer. Glass is pristine and has had a uv filter on since day one......The only blemish, thus the 9 rating is a tiny ding on the soft extended lens hood, and a bit of a mark on barrel.(ding from another camera in car rolling gently on....why I did not put in bag immediately, I don't know ) Both have been noted in picture with a white circle....for more feedback check my e-bay account at jamestorr.
