Does anyone else in the alt world go a little simple over the phrase "AF Inoperable" or something to that effect?
I've got a list of older lenses I want to test out with IR. Next on the list was supposed to be the Canon EF 100-300/5.6L, but, while looking for a good one, I came across an EF 100/2 at Adorama with an inoperable AF motor in an otherwise "Average" rated body (so, probably a little dust in the lens and some exterior signs of use commiserate with age) for $112. The lens wasn't even on my list, but it is now. I couldn't pass it up. It'll be fun to play with.
