For sale is the Leica Minilux with the 40mm f/2.4 Summarit lens, in the rarer black finish.
The black finish is rarer than the original champagne titanium, and it's usually priced higher to match. This camera has not had the ribbon cable repaired, but that said I've put half a dozen rolls through it with no issue. However, that may be a possible repair need in the future. There are a few people out there doing repairs, or you can get the cable yourself for $20-30 on eBay and take a crack at it.
Cosmetically, it's mostly in good condition except for a good bit of wear at the front right corner. Functionally it's perfect. The camera runs in auto and aperture priority mode with no issue, there's no bleed or leak in the LCD, and the lens works perfectly. Among the premium point and shoots, the 40mm Summarit is maybe the best out there.
Includes a matching Leica ever-ready case and brand new batteries.
Given the possibility of a future repair and the cosmetic condition I'm pricing this well below other black Minilux models you'll see online.
