Nice to know. I always thought that standby takes a bit more power than complete shut off. I might start to utilize the standby more. I have learned a habit to turn the camera (any camera, not only Leicas) off when I'm not going to use it within minutes.

The only real downside is losing geotagging and lower image quality background transfer, but if you still want to connect to FOTOS, you can always use a USB-C cable. Honestly, it’s an instant connection anyway.
