Had to look at this a bit before commenting. Very compelling shot in that way. The obvious being the skills to bend wood in multiple dimensions without destroying it is high level art. The high key brings it into focus without distraction, and I would drive myself crazy deciding whether or not to erase the linear shadow at the back. Nicely done Mike!
