p.1 #1 · Problem seeing Epson printer profiles in Photoshop "Printer Profile list
Today I was going to print on my Epson p9000 printer using some new Epson papers that I have not used before. But I'm having a heck of time getting the Photoshop Print Settings window to show the factory profiles. (Normally I profile papers myself, and I've been using the profiles I created for other Epson and non-Epson papers — the problem is seeing the generic Epson "factory" profiles for these new papers.
I reinstalled the Epson drivers for the P9000 which is supposed to install the Epson profiles. I also deleted and re-added the P9000 (IP version) printer in the Apple Printers and Scanners section of the Mac OS System Settings.
When I print in Photoshop the Photoshop Print Settings dialog appears. I select my p9000. I set Color Handling to "Photoshop Manages Colors." So far nothing unusual.
Next, in this same window, I go to the "Printer Profile" popup menu. I see many paper profiles there — quite a few of which are irrelevant to me. I see my custom printer profiles that I created. But I do not see any of the factory Epson paper profits.
I'd appreciate any thoughts on how to find and install those Epson factory profiles so that the appear here.
