Amazing! I truly enjoyed looking through your photos. The ones from your second attempt up Denali were incredible. What an experience that must have been. Well done making it to 18,200 ft. Hope some of these photos hang on your walls - they deserve a large print

I think I am sticking with a color camera for now but still love the creative constraints of B&W / keeping HP5 in my film camera. I do like the idea of experimenting with a monochrome camera for a week or month. I always forget that renting a camera before buying is an option.

Wow! Really enjoying this set. I don’t have access to snowy peaks but do have access to the Smokies. Curious about green wooded areas and a monochrom body coupled with a green filter. Or in the fall… Orange or yellow filters. Any experience with the mono bodies and those use cases? (Sorry to detract from the original post here)
Often it comes down to state of mind at a specific location. Over the years I have had every Leica M monochrom offered. But today I am finding I prefer to move the sliders which, for me, gives more latitude in post processing.
That said I still have an original M9M. Do I use it often? No.

Never tried green filters. For foliage I go straight to IR, which brings me to my only real complaint about the Q2M: no IR response. So I use an IR modded Sony or IR film.
