I'm selling my Canon Serenar 50mm f1.9. Keen-eyed Canon collectors will note that this is the 12th production example of this lens. According the Peter Kitchingman this is the earliest surviving example.
This lens was serviced in 2025 or 2026.
Cosmetically this lens shows some honest wear, mostly on the barrel.
Mechanically the focus is very smooth, as is the aperture. The collapsing function works great.
Optically this is a really nice example. No scratches, fungus, or separation. With a penlight there's a couple specks of haze on the periphery of one element. No effect on the image.
Included is a 3rd party rear cap and vintage filter.
