Nothing like a bit of wildfire smoke to make the light a little nicer. The heron was catching Dragon Flies to use a bate for the fish as it moved in and out of the sun.

BG in the first just a wee bit too busy for me but I like knowing they are flowers

Nice green heron shots, Morris. For me it is particularly photo #3 where I prefer the available light. The greeny has a healthy variety of food sources.

Hey Morris. I love green herons. Love the fish and water drop in the first one. As mentioned ,the last one is the winner here (at least in my mind ). Hope you post more greenies
