This Semipalmated Plover was on a mudflat at the Marine Nature Study area. It's one of my faverate spots to get very close to the wading birds as there is a spot where no grass block the view when I hold my camera near the ground. These photos were taken using my rear LCD flipped up to a conferrable angle.
