I took the "back way to my job at CLNP..turning left thru the Jackson-Perkins pear orchards in Jacksonville.....I loved it!
There was a wildlife park Applegate I worked at in my "off hours" from CL...It was shut down by the State govt and moved to the https://greatcatsworldpark.com/...its predecessor.....
Glad that part of GP did not vanish.

Sorry, it was cramped and a cellphone, just trying to give you the gist. Good luck.
Never a need to be "sorry" to me Greg!
You responded. I appreciate THAT!

Re blacks and metal prints, Metal Mouth did this one for me (glossy) and, in direct full sun, the blacks do have a deep purple-ish tint. The recipient didn't care so neither did I. In normal lighting conditions the tint is not visible. I suppose if outdoor display (or really bright interior lighting) is the goal then some small test prints would be in order.
I've also done some face mounted acrylics that turned out well. Nevada Art Printers is a well-regarded source but too pricey for the people I catered to.
Dan, you might ask for samples from your intended metal printer. In NorCal, I use largemetalprints.com. They sent me four 4x6 samples of work I intended to print. I'm sure other metal printers will offer you that convenience.

Acrylics are also an interest of mine....
Thanks Howard!

^ You're welcome. FWIW, I took a look at Nevada Art Printers acrylic prices and they seem pretty reasonable, so either they're not charging as much these days or I mis-remembered (which happens more than I'd like )

I have a pretty good printer near me, "Picture This"- Jeff Lunn..he is very good and I "bounce" things off of him and get to see in "real time" what I am interested in BUT..metal and acrylic are very scarce for him..
Thanks again..my "shadows" are getting shorter as is my memory.
