Wonderfully captured and breathtaking images of the incomparable Oregon Coast. I have thought for many years to do an Oregon Coast workshop still doing the Pacific Northwest, and theses images, along with this years time there keeps verifying it. One could spend their entire life photographing only the Oregon coast and never see all its epic riches.
Wow! I appreciate the positives! This is my second visit to the Oregon coast. Went almost precisely 13 years ago but further south to Coos Bay. Got a very different set of pics. Partly because the locations are so different and to an even greater extent because of the weather. Had a lot of clear blue skies and warm weather back then which made the experience more pleasurable but I think the recent misty conditions made the shots more interesting. If I do visit Oregon again, it might be a more land-based vacation. Hiking through the woods and all.

Lovely set! I especially love the 5th one. Well done!
Thanks! I appreciate the love for the black and white. I have converted several of the misty pics as it allows me to cut into the mist and provide some structure to all the bright ones. I did that with the second pic but shared the color version as I also sometimes prefer the diffuse, more natural take. Can be a toss up!

That is an outstanding series!!! I would be hard pressed to find a favorite, but one does fall short IMO. I find that out of focus, bright green shubbery in the first image to be very distracting.
Thanks for the positives and for the criticism. Honesty is a pretty decent policy!

Thanks! The second pic does sort of consolidate in one image what struck me most about my time there. I will remember all that mist and how the other folks sort of disappeared into it. Provided a very peaceful, relaxed vibe for the family reunion vacation.

Hard to catch a unique view of such a photographed location. You did that really well with a few of these. Love it.
Thank you, Kevin! Much appreciated. I was sort of trapped within pretty unusual conditions so tried to make the most of it. I guess the first pic is the most run of the mill as I internet searched the location and Google provided me with some very similar images. Still, it is my run of the mill image!
