p.1 #1 · Airlink Carry-on Rule Enforcement

I will be traveling to Kasane, Botswana for a safari tour with Pangolin Photo Safaris. On the last leg of my trip, I will be flying from Johannesburg to Kasane via Airlink. I would appreciate thoughts on the following questions as I prepare for my trip.

1. Does Airlink routinely measure and weigh carry-on camera backpacks?

2. Am I allowed to have a pair of binoculars or a camera and lens strapped around my neck in addition to my small laptop bag and my carry-on backpack?

3. Is the following gear list appropriate?
- Canon R1, Canon R5 Mark II; EF 600mm F4 with RF adapter, Canon RF 100-500 L, Canon RF 24-105 F4 L, DJI Action Cam 6, and Rode Video Mic. (Leaving at home my RF 70-200 F2.8 Z L and RF 1.4x teleconverter.)

Thank you.

They will weigh everything. I always purchase extra weight allowance when I book my trips.

Hi, I flew Airlink from Windhoek to JNB last year and had a fair amount of gear, approx 10kg in two bags, one large and one small, had no issues.
