I observed two sparrows in my feeder. Same size but clearly one a parent and one a fledgling. Because the parent was eating and the fledgling was chirping at the parent asking for food. While standing knee deep in seed. Parent ignored the kid until eventually he gave up and started his own feeding. Tough love.
