p.1 #1 · Secrets revealed

There's a tiny, seemingly unremarkable insect floating around the backyard. It appears to be a white moth, no bigger than the heads of clover it's dancing upon. So small you may not even notice. Or you may notice, but a little white moth holds no interest. Or you may be curious so you grab your camera for a closer look. Oh my ! Another to add to my list

Spring Azure Butterfly
OM-1 MK ll Olympus 100-400

Thanks for taking a look !
Gary

Beautiful little butterfly Gary !! We have them here and they are not easy to photograph aside from being very small , they never stay still and move SO quickly. Great set.

Both are very well done Gary. How do you feel about darkening that bright blade of grass intruding from the bottom of the first image? While the second is a very clean image the first has a nicer angle and shows the environment adding interest to this very well composed image.

Yup. I considered that while editing. My thought was to remove it but I got lazy I'll give it a try

These are great Gary. Fantastic detail. No idea how beautiful they are until I saw your images. Pretty cool looking antennas they have.

Such a sharp looking little guy with his bright white and contrasting blues and black, well caught Gary!

But how do they do it? I wear a white shirt to lunch and I'm doomed to have a spot on it somewhere, somehow... yet they go their whole life in a pure white uniform and they look pristine, heh.
