p.1 #1A6700 auto focus question
I was trying to shoot bumblebee’s & a very small spider in a web.. the autofocus kept trying to focus on objects beyond the small spider, and in the case of the bumblebee, on the flower and not the bee.
Anyone know the hack for this? I’ve been trying to figure it out in the settings menu, but I haven’t had any luck yet

Place in Manual mode: select shutter and aperture desired. In settings: Focus mode set to AF-C, Focus Area: tracking: Spot S
AF/MF menu select subject recognition, then recognition target, select insect. You may have to also then select the right chevron which opens the insect menu to three other aspects that can help further if needed.

As above

Maybe enable DMF if not already and give the camera a hand by roughly finding focus first

Assume you weren't inside the mfd of the lens as well
