It's been awhile since I posted or commented. I have seen some of your work these past many months and enjoyed viewing them. I was in a slump , took pictures, but never processed them. Not sure if anyone else has ever gone through a period like that. Hopefully, it won't happen again as I missed the interactions with other photographers.
So, here is a mixed bunch from fawns to slow motion hummers of what I have done over the last many months.
I hope you enjoy.
Your nits, comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Birdie,
You still have the the nack, a beautiful and great set, I think we have our moments, especially this time of year, but getting out and getting that shot, regenerates the motivation, look forward to seeing more, like the days.

Welcome back Roberta. 4&5 are my picks from this very nice set.
I think most of us go through rutts and it's just something that happens. Some try changing what they are shooting while others take a break as you have. Don't worry, what happened is normal and you can simply forget about it.
Great photos! Sold my farm in KY a few years back and so miss watching all the little ones. Your images remind me so much of watching the fawns interact with each other and their mommas this time of year!!
Welcome back ! Many of us have missed you and your beautiful images. From what I see ,you haven't missed a beat. You posting again was the nicest surprise of the day.
Birdie - Glad to see you are back and posting your beautiful images. The Nature and Wildlife Forum is better when you are active. Always love seeing your images and you have helped a lot of us become better photographers over the years with your insight and knowledge.
I go through those periods more often than I care to admit. At it's worse I'm convinced it's all just pointless. Everything's been photographed. Who needs to see another photo of a Dragonfly, or an Osprey, or Egret, or a bear or lion cub ? But then when I finally get myself re-motivated to get out, I realize once again that it's not the end result that I crave, it's the time spent in nature. I could very easily go out and sit on the edge of a pond for five hours but in a very short time my mind would begin to wander and every thought I was trying to escape would begin to creep back in. But with a camera in my hand, and critters to concentrate on, my mind is completely off my problems, at least for a little while. It's my best form of therapy
If nothing else, just know that your work brings joy to others and you've always been and still are an inspiration.
Oh, and I really love #5

Thanks Tom. Having lived all my life is suburban area below sea level , moving to the North Georgia Mts has been a huge change. The deer are plentiful and we have a herd that stays in this area , Been fun to watch the boys grow from little spikes to 8 to 10 points. ( There is no hunting on this mtn, so lots of deer) The does and the fawns are my favorites.

Thanks Dave !!! I am planning on printing that one.
Wow wow wow! These are so great to see, especially 5 and 8 for me, those are my top picks, but they are all terrific.
It's so good to see you posting again Birdie! Glad you found some mojo to get you going again. I go through periods like that... but your style and rendering is so unique and personal that it leaves a void when you are gone! Don't do that to us! We'll be good, promise!
