You need to be more specific. Rolleinar could be anything between a close-up lens for Rolleiflex / Rolleicord cameras to QBM mount lenses.
Also gotta say it hurts my German eyes to see someone spell it Rollie or - worse - pronounce it like that. The „Ei“ in Rollei is pronounced like „aye“ in English

I like them. I finally was able to get #1, 2, and 3 for my Rolleiflex. I think anything beyond #1 is too close for portraits, but that's just me. I wanted to use them on my Autocord as well, but for some reason only #2 will mount properly even though it should all be the same.
My greatest advice is just to make sure you're getting all the pieces. The older kinds have 3 pieces and the newer ones are 2. Sometimes people sell 2 out of the 3 pieces for the older sets not realizing it's missing something. If the prism part (not sure of the proper name) says "Heidosmat" it's a 2 piece set.
My second piece of advice is just to make sure you're mounting the prism correctly. It helps immensely but not if it's on in the wrong direction.
Thanks for that on 2 vs 3 pieces as I’ve seen both. Also a lot of sellers show them put together for storeage so it is not clear if it is a complete set. How do they go together if there are 3 pieces?
Another Rollei question-does anyone have expierence with BrightScreen focusing screens? Can you tell in terms of f /stops how much brighter my view will be on my model T?
I definitely have the Rolleinar 1 and 2 for my Rolleiflex 3.5e, maybe even the +3. I only ever use the +1 as framing just gets too imprecise with a TLR if you get closer.
My Rolleiflex has a focusing screen from magicflex camera installed. It is significantly brighter than the standard screen, immediately noticeable. That said I find with these screens it can sometimes get a bit harder to judge depth of field. I think that’s just a trade-off of more coarse ground glass vs fresnel screens.

The older (3-piece) set has two of the actual rolleinar pieces that go on each lens and then the rolleiparkeil which goes on top of the top one and adjusts for the parallax. The newer version (2-piece) basically has the rolleinar and rolleiparkeil joined together for the top lens.
BrightScreens - I currently have one in my Autocord and I'm getting one installed on my Rolleiflex as we speak. I wouldn't be able to guess the difference in brightness but it was pretty substantial for me on the Autocord, and I really need a focusing aid on all my cameras. That in itself has been worth it.

Seller threw in both Rolleinar 2&3 along with OEM handbook and pistol Grip.
The cost…? Believe it or not, he asked what he paid when he bought it all new..£100 !!

I took it to a camera repair shop to have it serviced… as I walked in, a chap working on a plastic P&S peered over the top of his half moon spectacles and said “ ah , proper camera” turned out he was former Rollei Technician!!
He totally stripped the camera down and rebuilt it.
I used that camera in my final year at college doing a HND in Photography (late 90’s).
The camera hasn’t been touched since.
Funnily enough I’m currently debating whether to put another roll through the old girl.

Your point about framing being imprecise??
Did your Rolleinars not come complete with the prism filter for the viewing lens??

That solves focusing, not framing.
The framing issue is parallax because you’re not looking through the taking lens. The image you see is higher than the actual image taken, the closer you get to your subject, the more apparent this gets.
