"See what a lot of land these fellows hold, of which Vicksburg is the key! The war can never be brought to a close until that key is in our pocket." - President Lincoln
For this week's assignment, I decided to honor fallen heroes of the civil war. A lucky cloud formation and a bit of help from Silver Efex Pro......here it is. A statue of a soldier from the Vicksburg National Military Park!

Thanks much Dan. I tried to learn a bit about the Civil War history with this entry. I am glad I live close by to Vicksburg and was able to make this entry possible.
Much appreciated!
