The osprey chicks have hit that explosive growth phase where every day brings a new milestone. Both adults are running a nonstop fish shuttle to keep up, and the female still has to parcel out each meal since the youngsters haven’t quite mastered tearing off their own pieces.
This week brought the first real wing workouts — big stretches, frantic flapping, and those hilarious little hops that mean flight school is right around the corner. Watching them test their wings is half comedy, half wonder, and all the reason to keep the camera ready.
