Still haven't seen an independent review posted yet. Might order one on Amazon to try it out...
In his example shots, I cant tell them apart in sharpness (GM might have ever so slightly more contrast?) but the Bokeh looks better to me on the Meike lens.

Hey Moses, thanks for the link! I'm interested as well. This might be another hidden gem like my Viltrox 35/1.2 LAB N. I gotta think about this....I already have two 85s (Batis and the 85L for Canon). I think the upcoming Sigma 85/1.2 would be more than double the Meike price. I think I might hold off and see what Viltrox is up to in a fast 85.

Think they'll be coming out with the 50 and 85 1.2s that were rumored back in January?
I don't need a 35 prime, but I want that 35 1.2 lol.

I just want to get one of the two upcoming Viltrox. More than likely it will be the 50/1.2. The only caveat there is there might be a Sigma 60 or 65/1. However, I might be priced out on that one, thus the Viltrox 50/1.2. If the price is similar or slightly higher than my 35, I might go for it!

I snagged one from Amazon. It's crazy sharp, but AF-S doesn't work for my on my A7RVI so it's going back, and I'll grab something native instead. Also the up close performance is so bad. I didn't think that would bother me but it sucks lol. Otherwise, feels very nice, not too heavy, love that you can lock the iris ring. No other complaints.
Really been loving 50mm lately, might just wait for the new Sigma 65mm coming out.

3rd party lenses often have issues with AF-S on new bodies, but a firmware update should fix that soon enough...
