p.1 #1 · Whats the One Piece of Gear You Sold and Still Miss?
Hey everyone,
Ive been thinking about the ones that got away when it comes to gear and figured Id throw this out there.
Most of us have bought and sold a bunch of stuff over the yearssome sales feel totally fine, and others you kind of regret later. Sometimes its not even about sharpness or specs, just how a camera or lens felt, the way it rendered, or the memories tied to it.
For me, the one that really stings is the Leica 35mm Summilux steel rim reissue. I sold it for practical reasons at the time, but I still miss that lens a lot. The way it drew, the character, and how perfectly it sat on an M body it just had something thats hard to replace. Every now and then I catch myself wishing Id just kept it.
What about you?
Would love to hear your stories (and know Im not the only one kicking myself over a sale)

If I sell something and really miss itI can just buy another one. In actual fact I dont believe I ever regretted selling any photo equipmentbut then I really dont buy or sell much gear.

Thats a great point. Im definitely guilty of romanticizing gear. Even though I know theyre ultimately just tools, I often find myself forming a real attachment to a specific piece based on the mindset or memories I had while using it.
