Common along the central California coast, I came across this field of Apacanthi earlier today. (Also known as "Lilies of the Nile.") They are common in blue and white varieties.
Generally, I don't find black and whites of flowers all that interesting unless the shapes are interesing, but somehow this field being mostly white ones seems it may work.
