This is a mint Leica 280mm f/4 Apo-Telyt-R lens. It comes with the rear cap, front cap, B&W UV+Haze filter, rear drop-in Series 5.5 filter with NDx1 filer installed, tripod foot, and built in hood.
The body of the lens shows no marks, dings, scratches etc. The aperture ring clicks crisply and the aperture blades are clean and free of oil. The front and rear elements are clean and free of any marks, scratches, or haze. The built-in strap lugs are pristine. Looking through the lens with the aperture wide-open i think i see a couple of tiny specks of dust but this seems to vary with the light. The lens hood stays extended in place the lens is held horizontally but creeps down if the lens is pointed up.
I do NOT have the Leica leather case, the original Leica box, or any other materials.
I have been using it very rarely adapted on my SL3. My future plans for my SL3 (If I cant trade it towards a Nikon Z9) is to use it next for cooperative wildlife photography - for which i need to get an AF lens with range. Hence the sale.
