For sale is a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens in good overall condition. If you're looking for a more affordable Version II that has been carefully serviced and tested, this lens is an excellent value. Autofocus is fast and accurate, Image Stabilization functions properly, and the lens produces sharp images throughout the zoom range.
The lens was recently serviced to repair a broken internal Image Stabilization stop. The repair was completed successfully, the lens was cleaned internally during service, a new rear weather seal was installed, and the lens was thoroughly tested afterward, including resolution chart testing at both 70mm and 200mm.
Cosmetically, the lens shows normal signs of professional use. The rear barrel has some paint wear that has been touched up, and the lens presents much better than it did prior to service. The front element has a few very light marks that do not affect image quality. There is also a faint arc-shaped mark visible on an internal element under bright flashlight inspection at certain angles. It is not visible during normal use and does not show up in optical testing or sample images.
