p.1 #3 · Tamron 12-20mm ƒ2.8 coming soon for Sony & Nikon
Hmm...looks nice. Definitely a lot smaller and lighter than the Sony 12-24GM, but still not light at 570 grams. It would certainly be a good companion for my 35-150 for vacations/landscape. If the quality of the images can equal my combo of Viltrox 14/4 (an extremely good lens and super light) plus my exceptional Sigma 24/3.5, I may take a hard look at it replacing them.

If it's anything like Tamron's 11-20mm f2.8 RDX for Canon RF-S, then it's definitely a gem worth buying. I had the 11-20mm f2.8 RDX on my Canon R7, and it outperformed my R7.

Interesting as it could replace my VC 12mm FE mount and the 16-35 Sony PZ. I'd have a 20-24mm gap before the 24-50mm kicks in but I think I can live with that, and if their press info is to be believed it might pass for astro.
p.1 #8 · Tamron 12-20mm ƒ2.8 coming soon for Sony & Nikon
Wow, is this the next generation of Tamron lens design? Looks fantastic. I'm guessing the G3s with aperture rings aren't too far off, hoping they bump up the build quality a bit.
Really liking what I'm seeing of this lens though, rear filter holder is great and 12 blades as well. It's a rumored press release though, so keeping expectations tempered.
