I had planned on submitting this image for the ultra wide weekly competition, but missed the deadline by a few hours. This is an unusual shot for me since I mostly concentrate on photographing wildlife. However, I had slept in that day and by the time I was walking through the Columbia River Gorge, it was just too hot for much animal activity. So instead, I rotated my Olympus 100-400 v1 for vertical shooting, and captured a landscape image of Mount Hood with a train passing through the WA side. It's a 28 image composite, and my very first landscape panoramic composite at that. Enjoy!
