I purchased this professional L-series lens - said to be one of Canon's sharpest telephoto zooms - new from B&H, and have the original box and receipt.
The lens has always been protected by a premium Hoya HMC Super UV filter (included). Both the glass and barrel are exceptionally clean, free of scratches, fungus or haze. Focus and zoom are smooth. Autofocus works perfectly.
I was the sole owner/user, though I did not use it much. It has spent its happy life in a protective LowePro case and stored indoors in a clean, smoke-free environment.
