Agfa Jsolette with 85mm f4.5 lens is in good condition. Glass is clear and the aperture blades & focus move smoothly. Bellows look good with no light leaks. Shutter linkage is missing, but cable socket on lens shutter works well. Film tested and slowest shutter speeds sound a bit slow to me, but work. I ran film through it (see sample) and did not experience any light leaks. There is a unique feature to this first model of the Isolette - it is dual format! It shoots 4.5 x 6 cm and 6 x 6 cm. There are swinging plates that you position while loading the film for whichever format you want to shoot that roll. The viewfinder has a switch to change the point of view from square (6x6) to slightly vertical (4.5x6). Viewfinder window has a
chip in the lower right corner, but visibility is fine. The previous owner had drilled the top "Trolitan" (one of the first plastics) to attempt to clean the viewfinder. I assume that is when the glass in the viewfinder got chipped. I cleaned the viewfinder by disassembly, and repaired the holes with black epoxy. FREE Shipping VIA USPS Ground Advantage.
