This is the only hood I ever found that doesn't clip the corners of the field of view on the 20mm f2.8 ais Nikkor. It doesn't thread into the lens, but slips over the outer barrel and then uses a compression clamp to securely attach to the lens. I got it new and always kept it in it's box. During a photoshoot the wind blew the box into a lake. So the box in the photo is one I created with poster board paper and an inkjet printer. I just didn't want the hood to get
