p.1 #1 · Vette Day

June 30 is National Corvette Day.

About 15 years ago I had the brilliant idea that I wanted to buy a Corvette so I went shopping for one. I had owned several cars that sat low to the ground so I was familiar with the "process" of getting in and out of such a machine. However, I quickly discovered that this car was different....or perhaps I was different (much older). When "trying one on" at the dealership I suddenly realized that my body had sustained entirely too much damage since my last low slung hot rod and that I was well beyond the point of being able to get into AND out of this car. Oh well....I had fun shopping for a dream nonetheless.

To celebrate today, here's a few images of the most recent Corvette I have photographed (circa 2022) that was NOT part of a car show.

Thanks for looking.

My problem exactly, Larry, early on I didn't have the money to afford one, now that I have the money, I do not have the body! But...if a good '58 came into my sights....

No hot girls and a hot car Larry ?
Suks gettin old, that's for sure and those low cars are a challenge, I rented a car in vegas last year that was pretty low, didn't realize what a pain it would be. But these new vettes are pretty kool lookin and when your sitting in one, you're in like a rocket ship and just wannt go fast.
